Bryan, thanks for the insights. I too am a detachable keyboard guy as I like to keep the "usual" form light as possible.

Hi Again...

The mobile keyboard is good when I need to be mobile - but at home, I prefer to use either a fullsize keyboard or the portable USB one that Motion ships with the tablet. The mobile keyboard is a bit too small for my big fingers and the key layout is a bit unusual, but it works well for airplanes and the like.

Overall, I like the motion alot. At my workspace in Minneapolis, I use their slate stand ($14) and the Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard & mouse - works great. It handles wifi at our HQ well (the entire complex is wireless), battery life is at around four hours.

I also use Motion's portfolio case which works well for meetings and commuting about the building from meeting to meeting and the like.

My company is settling on the Toshibas as an available device now (the motion was my purchase) and they've been getting good feedback so far on them, but I prefer the slate form factor..

Hope this helps -- ask away if you have more questions. I keep meaning to write up a post on how I use the Motion, but time keeps getting in my way.

Yes, I found it in an earlier post of yours often posting that. Do you not like the mobile keyboard in the photo ? How do you like the Motion? So many questions. :)

Hey James, welcome to my corner of the world.

It's the Motion 1400. It's sitting on the portable keyboard from Motion but I'm using the regular USB keyboard as its easier to type on.

In my office I use the Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, but my office is in Minneapolis so I don't have it available when I'm back home in Boston.

Take care --
